Christoff Snyman and Ben Mills started Tutella with the vision of providing a higher standard of security guarding services in an ever changing and challenging environment. Between them, they have a combined military, safety and security experience exceeding 40 years.

Christoff joined the British Army at a young age, where he served as a infantry sniper in the British Army. He had active services in Afghanistan serving as a sharpshooter, focusing on high-value targets and intelligence gathering operations in combating terrorism. He graduated from the world renowned hostile environment and corporate VIP Protection Ronin SA academy with flying colours, and worked on several security estates as a personal protection officer to wealthy clients and found a gap in the market for estate security after seeing the shortcomings.

Ben Mills served in the South African Defence Force from 1980 till early 2000, serving from the lowest ranks to that of Captain. Ben’s main role was serving as an Adjutant to the Commanding Officer. He completed SO-1 and SO-4 training and was mainly responsible for planning of high level operations. He has established several businesses and provides a lot of experience to the dynamic.
